As the founder of my agency in 2002, I became a pioneer in the wedding industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and was able to
pave the way.
As the first wedding planner on German-speaking television, I became a cult figure.

My bio
Born in the Sauerland and graduated from high school, I originally wanted to be a dancer, then an actor,
then become a fashion designer. Unfortunately, I did not pass the entrance exam, so I decided to study human medicine
in Düsseldorf. After the first state examination, I tried to become a teacher of sports and French.
Not much happier, I tried out the real estate industry and again the fashion industry and found
finally my first career in advertising:
Training as advertising manager, marketing communications manager,
seven years of management experience in national and
international advertising agencies in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
This job was exciting, educational and taught me all the basics for my future dream job.
When I was fired, I was drawn to the distance, I needed distance and time for myself -
for a new orientation.
After experiencing an exciting sabbatical in South Africa, I knew:
I want to be self-employed, work independently and do a job that really fulfills me and offers variety.
During my research into future careers, I came across wedding planners, a trend from the USA.
Everything I read excited me. I was so hooked that I immediately decided:
“I’m going to be a wedding planner.”
Without really knowing what this job means or entails.
Within two months I had founded my agency “White The Wedding Agency”,
the corporate design was developed and a vision:
To modernize weddings in Germany, to make them contemporary, creative and stylish.
The traditional mustiness had to go.
Only with this idea, my ability to inspire others, my empathy and a clear idea of the project process, I presented my agency at my first wedding fair near Berlin.
It was a complete success, my courage was rewarded.
Four weeks later I had my first clients, and another three months later I realized my very first wedding. It was March 2003.
From there I developed, realizing dreamlike, extravagant weddings in and around Berlin,
until 2005 when a television casting team suddenly appeared in my office:
A wedding planner was sought for Sarah Connor's dream wedding near Barcelona.
The rest is history...
